Our Mission

Our mission at Houston Acupuncture is to restore our patients’ health and treat complex disease through advanced integrative care, all for the glory of God. So let’s walk through all of that in a little more detail.

So at the center of our mission are the individuals we treat. Our duty is first to our patients. Our clinic is focused on treating our patients individually. And this means that we take the time to understand you, understand your history, your constellation of symptoms, and how they all fit together into a unique pattern of treatment that no one else on the planet shares. Our treatment plans are crafted specifically for you. And not just that, but they are also crafted for the particular season of life you are in. Our health changes from season to season, month to month, year to year. And so also a treatment plan needs to change with your health.

Many clinics and big healthcare systems advertise personalized medicine as a sales gimmick, but they still end up selling the same population-wide, large-scale-based interventions. But Eastern medicine at its very core is individualized. Eastern medicine is by nature a personalized medicine. And we’re bringing the best of Eastern medicine together with modern medical science to deliver an integrative approach that restores our patients’ health.

Treating complex disease. We excel in providing solutions for complex diseases. Many of our patients come to our clinic feeling as though there’s no hope for them. They may have exhausted the benefits of what modern medicine could provide or what online gurus could offer. And while many clinics don’t want to take on difficult cases, or they don’t want to put in the time needed to solve complex problems, that is what we especially enjoy striving to do. It is only by tackling the most difficult cases that we build our repertoire. When we help patients break through complex medical conditions, we find that especially rewarding.

Advanced integrative care. This is the nuts and bolts of what sets us apart. Most practitioners are only familiar with a modern Western framework of physiology and medicine, or only an Eastern framework of physiology and medicine. But to apply authoritatively both classical Eastern medicine and modern Western medicine requires deep and extensive time and training, and it’s something that very few people undertake. It reflects our commitment to excellence, and it’s what sets our results apart.

For the glory of God. We believe that every human life is created by God with eternal significance, and that’s what motivates us to help you, our patients, do as much as you can in this life and maximize the time that you have on this earth. We believe the design of the human body is a testament to the infinite wisdom of God, far greater than any of us will ever understand. And we believe that Jesus Christ is the ultimate healer of both body and soul, and our work is a very small reflection of that.
